A home from home: luxuriously comfortable king-sized bed with en-suite and rain shower, fully capable kitchen and dining space with adjoining soft seating. The Crow’s Nest is a peaceful place to get away from the noise of the world.

Stunning views from the large picture window, facing west to catch the passing clouds and glorious sunsets, as well as necessities like the laundry/drying room and private Starlink superfast internet, make this a wonderful space to watch the world go by.

Perfectly Positioned

Situated just 12 minutes north of Portree, The Crow’s Nest is perfectly positioned to take advantage of all that the Isle of Skye has to offer. Just off the A87, you can visit most of the iconic Isle of Skye destinations within 30 minutes.

A sweet spot for access to the Trotternish Ridge, Staffin, The Quiraing, The Old Man of Storr, Waternish Peninsula and Portree itself, you can take in the sights around the island knowing that you have a peaceful place to retreat to, and who knows, you might even catch the Aurora Borealis!

Uig is 15 minutes away with craft shops, services and links to the Outer Hebrides. Sleat Peninsula is an hour’s drive south. Neist Point Lighthouse is an hour’s drive west and, if you are walking the incredible Cuillin munros, it’s 30 minutes south.

    DESIGNER, MARKETING & MANAGEMENT

    During the 18 years of designing bespoke cabinetry for some of Scotland’s best furniture and cabinetry makers, Emma honed her craft and delivered award-winning projects. After relocating with her family to the Isle of Skye in 2023, she’s moved away from professional interior design, and now spends her day working with a local sheepskin tannery, helping with visual marketing and brand awareness.

    The Crow’s Nest was designed and curated by Emma.

  • Gordon

    DESIGNER, PHOTOGRAPHER & TECH SUPPORT

    Having spent over a decade as an industrial designer, overseeing British Designed watch manufacture, packaging production, graphic design, photography, film-making, editing and production, Gordon continues to work in the time industry from the home office.

    The Crow’s Nest is painted, trimmed and maintained by Gordon.
